Transparency & Donation Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy 
The Ukrainian Refugees Association (“URA,” “we,” or “the Organization”) is committed to operating with complete transparency and integrity in all fundraising and financial practices. This policy explains how donations are collected, managed, allocated, and reported to ensure donor trust and responsible stewardship of resources. 

2. Commitment to Transparency 
URA is dedicated to open and accountable operations. We commit to: 
- Providing accurate and accessible information about our programs, goals, and finances. 
- Publishing regular updates on how donations are used. 
- Making annual financial statements available upon request. 
- Maintaining open communication channels for donor questions. 
- Ensuring all financial activities meet legal and ethical nonprofit standards. 

3. Use of Donations 
All donations are used solely to support URA’s mission of assisting Ukrainian refugees with relocation, humanitarian aid, integration support, and essential services. 

4. Restricted and Unrestricted Donations 
Restricted donations are honored according to donor instructions. Unrestricted donations are applied where the need is greatest. 

5. Donation Processing & Security 
All donations are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment systems. URA does not store donor credit card information. 

6. Refund Policy 
Refunds may be issued for errors, duplicates, or unauthorized transactions within 30 days. 

7. Reporting & Accountability 
URA provides annual reports, program summaries, and financial information upon request. 

8. Donor Rights 
Donors have the right to transparency, anonymity, accurate receipts, and protection of personal data. 

9. Conflict of Interest 
No URA personnel may personally benefit from donated funds. 

10. Policy Updates 
Updates will be published on the URA website.
